Thank you for visiting our classroom webpage! In our classroom, learning takes
place for grade levels kindergarten through fifth grade. Our website includes
resources that can be used to foster learning for students in the beginning levels
of English language proficiency to the advanced levels of English language
proficiency.

ESL at Our School
In our school, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are taught by three
ESL teachers. Students are co-taught by these teachers alongwith one bilingual
mentor. Beginner level ESL students at our school receive a minimum of 1 hour of
ESL instruction daily. English Language Learners (ELLS) who are intermediate
level or above receive at least thirty minutes of ESL instruction per day. ESL classes
at our school are focused on students achieving English language proficiency in the
areas of phonics, fluency, grammar, reading comprehension, listening, speaking,
and writing. The following webpages are arranged by Enlgish Proficiency levels.
